Passion in the beat. Creativity in the material. – Tech House
Tech House – The sound that brought me back to life
I still remember the E3 in Geldern. A discotheque like many others – and yet the place where I first heard techno.
Before midnight, house music was playing. Soft, warm, rhythmic. Afterwards, it got louder, harder, faster – techno. And somehow, back then, that felt like a threshold.
House music opened the night. Techno was what devoured it.
I had a friend, Christian. A DJ. He had his rehearsal space, his turntables, and an unwavering love for house music.
I often stood by him for hours, just standing there.
He spun vinyl records, put them on, mixed sounds together, while I watched as the groove filled the room.
He was the only one who felt the same way I did back then.
For him, house music wasn't just music, it was a mood.
A state of being.
Later, at university, I was sitting in the room with my friend Armin – Hed Kandi was playing.
These legendary house compilations with that sunny, slightly glamorous vibe.
We listened to them over and over again.
Back then, it was all still Vocal House, Tropical House – light, carefree, catchy.
Music for a good mood, not for depth.
But while house was the beginning for me, techno was for a long time something that eventually made me tired.
It was playing everywhere in the clubs. Always harder, always faster, always the same.
And at some point, I was just fed up with it.
When I went out to party, it was to R&B. To hip-hop.
There was groove, bass, feeling – but it was different.
There was no house music there. And certainly no techno.
Then life happened: I got married, had a child, and didn't go out partying for years.
No clubs, no bass, no nightlife.
Just everyday life. Work. Responsibility.
And somewhere in between, it became quiet.
Until 2016. After the separation.
I started going out again. First hip-hop parties, Cologne, Düsseldorf, with friends, with Russians, in clubs that were wild, loud, chaotic – but somehow honest.
And then I met Daniel.
Daniel was different. Daniel took me to the 102 in Neuss.
There I heard techno again after years – but this time differently.
Better. Deeper. Tech House.
There it was again – that groove. That pull that just won't let you go.
The sound had soul, but also power. Structure, but also freedom.
No dull banging – but flow.
I also went to Mayday for the first time in my life with Daniel.
And suddenly everything was back: the light, the bass, the energy, the community.
I completely immersed myself in the party scene – I was out almost every weekend from 2017 to 2021.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Düsseldorf. Cologne. Wherever Werninghaus , Salvatore Bruno , Micky Markowitz or Arado played.
Those were my boys. My sound. My home.
Every beat felt like a setback in life.
Like a memory of something that had never completely disappeared.
And then – the next twist.
Sport. Meditation. Silence.
A lot has changed since 2020. I party less. More consciously.
I only go out when I feel like it.
When the music truly calls to me.
But Tech House has remained.
Not just as a sound, but as a part of me.
Today I've reached a new point.
I build things. I create.
I think in terms of energy, patterns, and movement.
And suddenly, the old love was back – this time in a new form.
I want to make them visible. On fabric, on skin, in motion.
I wondered:
Why are there T-shirts, brands, and shops for everything – sports, hardstyle, 160 BPM –
But no one stands for what our music is?
For house. For tech house. For groove. For heart.
And that's exactly where I want to go.
I want to make clothes that reflect what we feel:
Clarity, energy, warmth, rhythm.
The connection between body and sound.
I will continue to do sports.
I will continue listening to music.
I will continue to celebrate – but with purpose.
And if you ever wear one of these shirts and you're standing on a dance floor somewhere,
then you know:
This comes from love.
From bass.
From life.
From Tech House.

What's coming next – the new Tech House collection
I deliberately chose the Tech House / Minimal Techno scene below 128 BPM .
Not just because I feel the sound – but because I know the people behind it.
This mix of R'n'B vibe, hip-hop attitude and electronic energy – that's my world.
Not hard techno, not 150 BPM, not rave noise.
Tech House is movement with style.
While shops like Art of Techno or Techno Essentials focus on the harder scene, I want to show the other side:
Cool, sexy, urban.
Muscle shirt meets oversized hoodie.
Sports cars, Gwagon, gold chains, sweat on the forehead – but all with a wink.
Drugs, ketamine, cocaine – they're part of the scene, but I want to break it with irony.
Designs with action-packed stories, a queue for the men's restroom, " The more you drink, the more WC ".
Or: underground parking garage, bathrobe, loud bass, friends, cars, lights.
I collect symbols from the clubs that have shaped me:
the red clock above the bar in Silq ,
the wall behind the DJ at Frau Manfred's ,
the red picture frames at night ,
Deck chairs in the gravel pit ,
the strobe ceiling in style ,
Scrap cars in front of the scrapyard .
These are all motifs that I reinterpret – combined with lines like
“ Never Stop Raving @ 102 ”
or
“ You are the Vodka in my Red Bull ”.
I'm not doing this alone.
I want to work with people who know the scene, who feel it, who are up for it.
Designers, photographers, people from the club who bring ideas, photos, vibes or simply honest feedback.
If you're reading this and Tech House grabs you too – get in touch.
I'm building something new, and this is just the beginning.
